The Assyrian priest who was stabbed by a jihadist at a church in Sydney, New South Wales, made a very sad, defeatist decision:

An Assyrian church bishop who was stabbed during a service at his Sydney church has publicly offered forgiveness to his alleged attacker.

He called for his supporters not to retaliate over the attack but instead behave in a “Christlike” way. [...]

The church on Thursday released an audio statement from Emmanuel in which the bishop, speaking from his hospital bed, said he was recovering well and that he was praying for his alleged attacker.

“I forgive whoever has done this act,” he said. “And I say to him, ‘You’re my son. I love you and I will always pray for you.’

“And whoever sent you to do this, I forgive them as well in Jesus’s mighty name.”

“I have nothing in my heart but love for everyone. Whether that person is a Christian or not, it’s totally beside the point.”

He called on his supporters to pray instead of retaliate: “There is no need to be worried or concerned. And a piece of advice to all our beloved faithfuls – I need you to act Christlike.

“The Lord Jesus never taught us to fight, the Lord Jesus never taught us to retaliate, the Lord Jesus never said to us ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth’.”

This is not a matter of "retaliation". This is a matter of failure to condemn a "religion" that's done the world more harm than good, and many Christians as much as Judaists have fallen victim to it over past centuries, as have apostates from Islam too. I'm sorry, but this is exactly why the Religion of Peace has had such a horrifying impact upon the globe. Because these figures of faith don't have the courage to call a spade a spade, and confront serious issues meat-and-potatoes style.

An anti-Israel activist was arrested in Bakersfield, California for making murder threats against city council members:

An anti-Israel protestor has been arrested after threatening to murder members of the city council of Bakersfield, California.

During a meeting of the city council to discuss a resolution calling for a ceasefire between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization, Riddhi Patel threatened Mayor Karen Goh and other municipal officials.

Patel said during the public comments section of the meeting that "you guys are all horrible human beings, and Jesus probably would have killed you herself."

She condemned the city council's decision to install metal detectors for the meeting, and her rhetoric grew increasingly violent and threatening.

"I hope that one day, somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you mother-s," she said.

"We'll see you at your house. We'll murder you," Patel declared.

Patel was arrested for her death threats and on Friday she was indicted on 18 felony charges. She pled not guilty despite her threats being recorded on camera.

The court ordered that Patel be held on $1 million bail and that she be kept at least 500 yards away from city hall.

Hmm, did she really also allude to Jesus as though he were a woman? Apparently, somebody who potentially supports transsexual identity politics must've made that remark, and topped it off with additionally abominable language. This is truly disgusting, and such a person belongs underneath the dregs of society. If she's from a Moslem country, she should be deported back there, and lose any citizenship she has. But who knows if, in a horrible state like California, the law will be enacted properly?

Not to mention the issue of the Rafah area in Gaza. Knesset member Tali Gottlieb had the following to say:

MK Tali Gottlieb from Likud responded today (Tuesday) to the pressures on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from the international arena not to attack Iran in response to its recent missile attack on Israel.

"It angers me that we did not attack Iran. Open Gazan Telegram channels. Most of Gaza are terrorists, they mock us. They look at us with contempt. I expect the Prime Minister to reject Biden's request not to attack Iran. We have become a colony of the USA. We asked to impose a blockade on Gaza, and Biden prohibited us, we asked not to allow fuel, and the USA prohibited us, we said not to allow humanitarian aid to Hamas, and they forced us, we built them a port in Gaza."

These are all very valid concerns and complaints, and such opposition to Israel's right to defend itself cannot be allowed to continue.

Here's a most fortunate ruling from the USA supreme court, on the issue of protecting children from what can be described as a form of genital mutilation:

The Supreme Court ruled Monday to allow an Idaho law protecting children from life-altering transgender procedures to go into effect while the law is challenged in lower courts.

The law, passed last year, bans procedures like double mastectomies on girls who identify as boys and giving children puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, which have been linked to bone development issues and heart problems. The law also stipulates that doctors who perform transgender procedures on kids could go to prison for 10 years. The decision means the law will go into effect for the state except for two families who say their children identify as transgender who sued with the help of the ACLU claiming the law was discriminatory.

Justices Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett all sided with Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador who appealed to the court to turn back a sweeping injunction placed on the law by a federal judge who completely blocked the law. Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan all dissented.

This is another example of how the ACLU is more an evil entity than one dedicated to sanity. Thank goodness for now SCOTUS didn't let them have their way. On the other hand, it's horrible that California, by contrast, is allowing these kind of nightmares to occur:

A Texas father is left powerless as he fights his ex-wife in a California court over her insistence to start their son on puberty blockers.

The terrifying saga facing Jeff Younger is a cautionary tale about how the U.S. court system is weaponized against parents who do not go along with the transgender cult. For years, Younger and his ex-wife, Anne Georgulas, have fought over custody of their children, with the highlight of their fight being about one of their sons, who she believes is transgender.

Georgulas moved their children, including their 11-year-old son, to California against the wishes of their father. The move was protected after Younger lost his petition in the Texas Supreme Court to force her to return the children to Texas.

It goes entirely without saying the "mother" doing this to her son is a monster, and that she took him to California, now providing sanctuary for horrors like these, speaks volumes.

As for mastectomies like the ones spoken about, let us be perfectly clear: they're a form of stealth jihadism, when you look at this issue in the context of how Hamas terrorists graphically murdered women on October 7, 2023 by cutting off their breasts. That's what makes all this LGBT nightmare so obscene, because mastectomies are basically the same thing - a form of murder of a woman's body.

In the past few days, there was a horrifying stabbing murder of 6 people at a shopping mall in Sydney's Bondi Junction, apparently committed by a drifter:

Police in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) have identified the assailant who stabbed six people to death at a busy Sydney shopping center on Saturday afternoon before he was shot dead.

Australia-born Joel Cauchi, 40, was responsible for the attack at the Westfield Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction, in the city’s eastern suburbs, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

NSW Assistant Police Commissioner Anthony Cooke told reporters at a media conference on Sunday Cauchi suffered from yet unspecified mental health issues and police investigators weren’t treating the attack as terrorism-related.

“We are continuing to work through the profiling of the offender but very clearly to us at this stage it would appear that this is related to the mental health of the individual involved,” Cooke said. [...]

Six people — five women and one man, aged between 20 and 55 — were killed in the attack and 12 others remain in hospital, including a nine-month-old child, whose mother died during the attack.

This is most truly abominable, but if that wasn't a terrorist attack, what followed a few days later most definitely was. Now, another stabbing attack occurred at a Christian church in the same city, and this one appears to have been committed by a jihadist:

Sydney has been shaken by another stabbing attack with a priest and worshippers assailed by a knife-wielding man Monday in a suburban church.

Bishop Mari Emmanuel was preaching a live-streamed sermon at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in the city’s west when a man dressed in black approached the altar and allegedly stabbed the Christian Orthodox priest multiple times.

Horrifying footage of the incident, which was being broadcast live on the church’s YouTube page, shows Bishop Emmanuel look up in astonishment as the attacker suddenly rains down blows on his face and head, news.com.au reports.

Sky News and the ABC both report the 15-year-old had been on bail facing several offences, including possessing a flick knife, stalking and property damage, until facing court in January.

The crimes were proven but dismissed in favour of a good behaviour bond, which remained active when he allegedly stabbed Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel at the Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley the city’s west at 7.10pm last night.

Police described the alleged attack as a “terrorist act”.

Meanwhile, furious police have vowed to track down every “un-Australian” thug who attacked officers while they responded to the alleged terror attack, in scenes that rocked the nation.

Two separate task forces have been established after a 16-year-old male allegedly stabbed Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel at the Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley the city’s west at 7.10pm last night.

One will probe the recent background of the alleged attacker, who was captured on a livestream of the bishop’s sermon shouting “Allahu Akbar” as he stabbed the bishop in the head, neck and torso at least eight times.

The bishop and priest Father Isaac Royel, who was also stabbed, remain in hospital in a stable condition. [...]

There is some confusion about what the teen says in response as it seems he was speaking in broken Arabic. According to reports, he had recently converted to Islam.

However, at a press conference in Canberra today, ASIO Director General Mike Burgess said the intelligence agency was aware of alleged remarks made by the teen referring to the bishop having offended the prophet Muhammad….

In another video circulating on social media, one of the men who helped to hold the teen down tells a female police officer that he “ran and grabbed him from behind and just pushed him down”.

“He kept saying: ‘Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar’,” he tells the officer.

All that does is make clear it's bad news when anybody of this sort converts to such a belief system. The creep likely did that to serve as an identity politics and protected class shield. That's what'll bring down the world for real very soon.

Some polling research came out that's little different from what was discovered back in the mid-2000s in Britain, and this time, it's easily worse:

1 in 3 Muslims living in the UK want Islam to be declared the national religion and for everyone to live under the brutal system of Sharia law which calls for beheadings and amputations.

Less than 1 in 4 Muslims opposed the move while the majority were unwilling to commit.

Among younger Muslims 18-24, 1 in 5 believed that making Islam “our national religion” was “very desirable”, and a total of 43% supported redefining the UK as an Islamic state.

Only 16% opposed it.

This younger group who are the future of Muslims in the UK was also the one most likely to sympathize with Islamic terrorists.

1 in 4 British Muslim men expressed a positive view of Jihad. 46% of British Muslims sympathized with Hamas as did 58% of younger British Muslims. None effectively sympathize with Israel. Previously 1 in 4 Muslims had sympathized with the 7/7 suicide bombers in London.

52% of Muslims supported a ‘blasphemy’ ban on Mohammed cartoons. This Sharia ‘blasphemy code’ had already been used to justify violence and Islamic terrorist attacks against artists and magazines. Including the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris by heavily armed Muslim terrorists.

And now, to make matters worse, the UK's imported plenty of illegal immigrants from Muslim countries, so it shouldn't be shocking the numbers would go from worse to hopeless. And Rishi Sunak's failure to do anything about this is exactly why the Labour party's bound to be elected later this year, and worsen the situation in the UK.

Naomi Ragen's written about the Iranian missile launches, which should be no shock, and are definitely dangerous. It's miraculous the Israeli defense systems were able to thwart the majority of them so far. Ragen says:

The night of Iran’s despicable attack on Israel, make no mistake, was meant to annihilate large swathes of our population. Hundreds of deadly drones, and powerful missiles containing 60 tons of explosives were meant to destroy army bases, homes, factories, schools, synagogues, killing thousands. More than that, missiles and drones were directed towards Jerusalem and al Aksa, and went over holy Muslim shrines in Iraq. This wasn’t a mistake. Israel’s destroying these missiles prevented them from destroying what the Muslims insist is one of their holiest shrines and the basis for the genocidal “Flood” campaign of Hamas. Yet, like the atrocities of October 7, Iran is not apologetic, but proud of this, publicizing photos of their missiles over Al Aksa everywhere.

Who can understand them? That their missile attack achieved less than nothing – two holes in the ground in the Golan and the Nabatim airbase – is nothing short of a miracle. But that’s not the point.

I wonder if any other place in the world under such attack would be warned with such immediate and fanatic frequency by its “friends” not to fight back. I can’t understand America. Yes, they helped us down about 80 drones and missiles. But there were hundreds. And Israel took care of them all by herself. If only Joe Biden and his State Department would have focused their insistent demands against reciprocation on the Iranian regime before its missile launches, instead of on Israel after.

While I personally wasn’t frightened, what do you think it does to a whole civilian population to be told that hundreds of missiles are launched and coming their way? Why does anyone seem to think that because the missiles didn’t land successfully and achieve widespread murder and destruction that nothing happened and it should be ignored?

Of course it absolutely cannot be ignored, and neither can Joe Biden's opposition to dealing more effectively with Iran. That's got to be the worst part of this whole affair.

A teenage shepherd was found murdered by followers of Islam:

On Saturday, the body of 14-year-old Binyamin Ahimeir was located in the area of Malachei Hashalom by the IDF, ISA, and Israel Police.

Binyamin Ahimeir went missing on Friday morning, and was murdered in a terrorist attack.

Initial reports said that Ahimeir, a shepherd, left at six in the morning, but later the flock he led returned to the village of Malachei Hashalom without him.

The incident is under review.

Security forces are continuing the pursuit after those suspected of carrying out the attack.

What this makes clear is that the danger is in more places than just Gaza, and it's very sad the kid was murdered by the Religion of Peace.

Some Haredi ministers in the government are starting to support issues that're vital in a time when Israel's been struck by terrorism, and is doubtless going to face Iranian attacks soon:

The haredi public must internalize that they will need to begin committing to national service, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel (Shas) said in a podcast that was published on Thursday.

The comment was rare, as ultra-Orthodox leaders have largely refrained from taking the side of increasing haredi service since a crisis over the issue broke out in February, when the defense ministry revealed that it was planning to overcome a lack of manpower by increasing mandatory and reserve duty, and not by drafting thousands of haredi men, who have enjoyed a blanket exemption. [...]

"The reality after October 7 is that the haredi public must understand and internalize that there is no moral option to continue this way,” Arbel said on a podcast by an organization called “Hariv’on Harevi’i” [Hebrew for “The Fourth Quarter”] that was recorded weeks ago but only published on Thursday.

This is certainly impressive, coming as it does at a time when some events and school services are being put on hold because of the danger that could come from Iran now. There's only so many people in Haredi communities who could've done a lot of good for the country in many ways if they hadn't gone about pushing these isolationist beliefs that have practically led to self-haters within ultra-Orthodox clans like Satmar, and even the "Jerusalem Faction", that encouraged blocking roads and rioting. This does not improve even their societies, and only results in division.

So those Haredis who aren't serving in the military would do well to enroll now, and prove they have what it takes to contribute to the war effort to defeat Hamas, in example, and Hezbollah, and of course, Iran. Israel needs all the help it can get, and come to think of it, the time's coming when many Haredis could take part in the war that'll doubtless plague Europe soon enough too.

Israel National News interviewed UK author Douglas Murray, who encourages Israel's advocates around the world not to give up and keep fighting:

Although advocacy is difficult, he doesn’t see himself quitting. “I think I would do what I do even if I didn't think I was making a difference, but as it happens, I think I am. My belief has always been that one truth can puncture a thousand lies. In the age of social media, that theory is being put to the test in real-time. A lot of the media has an agenda now. That's their right. I'd like Israel to win this conflict, some of them would like Hamas to win, some of them would just like Israel to lose.”

Murray denounces the focus on Israel. “None of these newspapers covered the far greater death toll that has been going on for the last decade in Yemen and Syria. Why are they so obsessed with this one? It's their opportunity to hold on to something that gives a feeling of crisis, but they have arsonist and firefighter reversed here. Many may talk about the history of the conflict, but that only proves it more.”

[...] He believes in a simple message, powerfully projected to the world. “There's always a limit to what can be done from this country because it's a numbers game. There are multiple countries at the United Nations who wish this country seriously ill and many of them have very powerful media. That doesn't mean that the truth shouldn't continue to be put out there. The job of Israeli diplomacy is to get out the facts as fast as possible and hope that they have an impact on the world. People have to be reminded who's the aggressor here. The deaths are all on Hamas. Maybe if people realized that, there would be fewer calls for a ceasefire.”

Regarding the calls for people to witness the scenes of the massacre themselves, Murray is staunchly in favor. “I don't forget the scenes, the bodies. It is very important to see, even at this late stage, the ruins of some of these communities. Much of the world still remains pretty ignorant of the actual details of the horrors of what happened that day.”

While much of the footage from the bloodbath is graphic, it will have to be seen by adults, with the formidable question being whether certain bigoted adults will actually find it offensive and repulsive. And Murray's right that Israel must keep on trying to get the truth and facts out there for everyone to see. You can go to the article to watch the video interview as well.

The former football player and actor who became notorious after the murder of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman has died of cancer at 76:

Former NFL running back O.J. Simpson died on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer. He was 76. [...]

Simpson achieved fame as a college football star at the University of Southern California (USC) and followed that up with a stellar 11-year career in the NFL before launching a successful broadcasting and movie career.

However, in 1994, Simpson’s fame gave way to infamy as video of him fleeing Los Angeles police officers in a white Bronco after he was charged with the murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman.

Simpson went to trial to contest the charges in 1995 and was acquitted of criminal murder. The verdict came as a shock to many who believed Simpson was the murderer and that the verdict was fraudulent.

Two years later, Simpson was found civilly liable for the murders.

And he later served at least 7 years in prison for involvement in a robbery. Chillingly enough, he may have converted to Islam in the past decade. Now, he's gone, and his tattered legacy since collapsed. It's obviously a shame this had to happen when it did, but that's what sad about reality.

Update: Goldman's father had some strong words to say following the news:

Fred Goldman, the father of Ron Goldman, who was murdered alongside Nicole Brown Simpson in June of 1994, has strong words after hearing of the passing of O.J. Simpson.

[...] NBC reporter Daniel Arkin said he spoke to Goldman Thursday to get his reaction to news of Simpson’s death after a battle with cancer.

“The only thing I have to say is it’s just further reminder of Ron being gone all these years,” Goldman said. “It’s no great loss to the world. It’s a further reminder of Ron’s being gone.”

The guy's got a point.
